Boston • Leica M10 • Long Exposure

I always knew Boston would be cold in November, but I severely underestimated just how frigid these evenings can get. I was about an hour into photographing the skyline by the harbor when my fingers began to hurt and my face went numb. Luckily, there was an L.L. Bean within walking distance where I picked up a pair of gloves and a beanie. Funny enough, there was another photographer in there as well with a backpack full of gear and a tripod. I assume he underestimated the cold as well. Despite the wind and the temperature, I am beyond happy with how these images came out. I sincerely look forward to going back again during different seasons - perhaps for warmer ones.
